Since 2014, Monarch Rescue’s conservation project has created monarch habitat in a wide variety of locations ranging from retirement communities to superfund sites to college campuses. In addition to its on-the-ground habitat conservation work, it participates in Monarch Watch tagging, the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project and project Monarch Health.
Its outreach and education work reaches students in schools, teachers through Monarch Teacher Network trainings, the public at hospice and grief centers, and the public at large (Veteto 2016).
