“The Nature Conservancy will restore 75 acres [30 hectares], enhance 960 acres [388 hectares], and maintain 3,860 acres [1,562 hectares] of prairie habitat at Dunn Ranch and Pawnee Prairies within the Grand River Grasslands of northern Missouri. The project will also result in the harvest, cleaning, and planting more than 1,000 pounds [0.45 metric tons] of milkweed and nectar seed on 1,035 acres [418 hectares]” (Edelen 2015).
