The MJV works to provide a one-stop source for monarch conservation information and resources related to its key objectives: education and outreach, research and monitoring, and habitat conservation. The information clearinghouse features downloadable resources, links to the MJV partnership and partner organizations, a compilation of necessary information for getting involved with creating monarch habitat, monarch citizen science, educating others about monarch conservation and regular updates about monarch news, events and interesting partnership projects. General information about monarch biology and threats to the population are also provided.
These resources are housed on the MJV website, and some materials are available in Spanish as well as English. MJV is constantly reviewing, updating and adding new content and features to provide an up-to-date and relevant information clearinghouse for monarch conservationists, researchers, habitat professionals, gardeners and any audience interest in monarch conservation (MJV 2016; Lund Preston 2015).
